Anyone got the cornwall iv?

Just wonder ing if any folks have auditioned or brought them? What do you think of them?

BuffaloBill 05-18-2020 07:50 PM

I think very highly of them.

Several YouTube reviews out already on these.

I would love to be able to hear them at home...

You have the perfect McIntosh audio gear to compare the Klipsch Cornwall IV horn to the Harbeth thin-wall cone. Just be prepared, you will go from the living room to the recording studio.

Do i loose resolution if i go from B&W CM10 S2 to a cornwall iv?

If there is one thing that can be said about horn speakers with their very high sensitivity is that they resolve as well as any speaker made. They, along with some electrostatic speakers, are the kings of resolution.
I'm still on the fence between the CW IW & Forte III. Decisions, decisions.......

I like them very much. I am particularly impressed with how good they sound at low volumes.

What are you driving your CW IVs with?

I don't own them. I spent a morning auditioning them, with a MA352.
