Silverbacks Or Greenbacks - Speaker Wires For HT System
I have 11 speakers in my HT system, and they are all in-expensive ones.
I have been using wires with a brand called Silverbacks purchased from an online store, and here are the specs: 12 AWG, OFC, 259 Strand Count. It's ~$160/200ft As said, my speakers are not high-end, so no complains so far. I am wondering what speaker wires you use in your HT systems. Considering the speaker numbers and distances, you are not using the expensive hifi cables, aren't you? |

I use WW Oasis 11 Ga Speaker Cable for sides, and surrounds. I buy it in 75M Spools @ $2K retail.

Looks really nice! ~10 times more costs than mine though. |

Your system is hybrid, so it might be different story. In my case, every time after looking at better wires, I always concluded Netflix and my Blu-ray titles did not deserve them. |

I've got 45 foot wire runs and I decided to go with Blue Jean Cables 10AWG wire with their locking banana plugs....Can't afford any other option with the 45 foot runs....

It’s really affordable! 10awg one is only $1.21/ft. It will be my next buy if I need more. Thanks! |
