Qobuz
Hi Folks,
Qobuz launches today in the US. It's so exciting to stream 192k/24 bit straight to the stereo! Qobuz integration into our BDP is currently undergoing final check and certification. High res streaming, here we come! |
Truly a happy day for us bit-heads! I've been very impressed during the beta and now I have to decide if it's time to turn off Tidal. MQA has not been the holy grail that I was anticipating...just give me clean hi-rez direct to my player!

James - Hopefully, you'll provide a write-up on the experience once complete.

It's not available in Canada yet but they tell me soon. james |
Speaking about bit-heads... I recently downloaded some 4xDSD albums which my Bryston BDA-3 played w/o any issue whatsoever. It sounded absolutely Stunning also!
I wish I could say the same about many other Brands/DAC’s that I own which cost many multiples more. :sigh: |
Hi Ivan,
I've not tried 4XDSD. You're doing that with the BDP-3 usb to the BDA-3? BTW, thanks for the idea of running a pair of BIT-15 on separate circuits. I couldn't be happier with the noticeable jump in resolution and dynamics with my 7B3 amps. John |

I was a beta tester for a month and ended up giving it up after my trial period. I manly listen to jazz and and there's a much larger selection of the music I listen to on Tidal. I'm told that it's because the copyright laws in France differ from those in the US.
I may be in the minority here, but I've been very pleased with fully unfolded MQA files played through Roon and my Lumin D2 streamer. |
I love it! The Hi Rez is great!
