The 2014 System Value Poll
It has been five years since our original System Value Poll. Lets revisit this interesting topic and discover how we have grown....or not. Lots of changes happen to audio systems in a five year period. I know my main system has shifted from the living room system in the 2009 poll to my studio system today. Big changes happened.
Let us know what the total value is of your main system. This can be a two channel system or a multichannel system. Whatever you consider to be your main sound system. Do not combine multiple systems in your total. Take a good long look at what you have in this system, i.e. amps, preamps, tuners, receivers, DAC's, transports, CD players, SACD players, servers, NAS network players, turntables, tonearms, phono cartridges, phono preamps, equalizers, isolation devices, racks, power conditioners and AC regenerators, outlets, surge devices, interconnects, digital cables, power cables, speaker cables, acoustic panels, bass traps, diffusors, universal remote controls such as iPads - URC - Philips - other remotes, wireless streamers, record cleaners, etc. What is installed in your main system all counts toward it's total value. Pricing is to be calculated at retail, even if you purchased the gear pre-owned. Total main system value does not include music library values or estimated future purchase values, only the value of your sound system as it is today.
This is strictly an unscientific poll based on voluntary member responses. You don't have to post if you just want to vote in the poll. Voting is anonymous so no one knows who voted. The wife will never find out. :)
Lets see how much value is represented in our members' main sound systems.
