New AQ Water DBS question...
 

This is going to be stupid. Want to get that out of the way :yes:

Just got a pair of Audioquest Water XLRs for my McIntosh 452 amp and McIntosh c2600 pre.

First time using a DBS based cable. So...which source get the DBS end? :D Does is matter?

I would think not..my Dealer said he thinks the Preamp gets the DBS end.

If they are XLR's then they can only plug in one way between the preamp and power amp. Plug them in and enjoy! And by the way ... I post plenty of questions that others may think stupid ... I don't lose any sleep over it. If anyone wants to laugh glad I could entertain them!:D

hahahahaha ;) Yea I called Audioquest this morning. Never knew that XLRs had a female and male enders. My first time with XLR ;)

We all have to learn somehow. I don't think anyone on AA ever thinks a question is stupid. Usually members are very keen to share their, often hard-won, knowledge.

And, maybe, not your last...
