Are the binding posts 5 way? I cannot detect a 'pin' in the binding posts that one would remove for the posts to accept banana plugs.

I use banana plugs with a Cremona M Center.

Carefully remove the red/black plastic plug.

Thanks, the plugs were so firmly seated that a knife blade eventually pried them out!

Yes, sometimes they are. Metal feeler gauges may also work. I even had to resort to drilling out carefully.
