Stillpoints with my P10

This afternoon I will be installing Stillpoints under my PS Audio P10. This unit is only used for my Esoteric K01-X/G01 front end.

Pics and impressions to follow.

It must be wonderful to have all this 'stock' you can just use as the desire hits you!

Seriously, is there a reason for a P10 only being used for your Esoteric K01-X/G01 front end?

John... It has a somewhat funny answer. These units all sit on an HRS-SXR rack, and I had a bit too much space on the bottom shelf. Rather than lowering everything; for convenience I wanted the K01-X higher. This led me to filling the larger space with a P10. I have no regrets, as everything looks and sounds amazing.

I'm looking forward to getting the P10 on its new Stillpoint feet.

LPI record weight was first Stillpoints product I purchased. Next was set of 4 Ultra SS under my P10. It sold me on stillpoints for everything. Interested to hear if you also find it worthy even if it only powers your digital.

Listening impressions:

First, it's worthy to note the PS Audio P10 weighs close to 100 lbs, therefore I chose to use the Ultra SS feet. They are positioned just inboard of the stock plastic/rubber feet, under the flat of the chassis.

I am hearing an even lower noise floor, with further improved dynamics. It simply dumb founds me, that I/we can continue to enhance the enjoyment of our music regardless how far along we are.

I will undoubtedly be replacing my HRS Nimbus Couplers with Ultra Mini's which I'm quite sure will elevate the Esoteric's performance.

When my P10 eventually turns up, it has been too long a wait, it will come with 4 x Stillpoint Ultra SSs. Taking John/allvinyl's advice I may get the adaptors too, so I can replace the feet. That is if they are removable... Otherwise I will do as Ivan has and then fine tune the positions. It's how heavy?!?

That's what I feared.

I just got my p10 and have to have it on its side (yes, on the heat sink). In steps masterlu with the still points to raise it off the floor. Does anyone have experience, tips, tricks with still points (mini ss with bases) and a p10 on its side? Tomorrow is the test day.

Thanks.
