Whats the difference between the MCT500 and MCT450?

Has the MCT450 been discontinued?

Only difference I can see is the USB port on the front glass plate.

Don't care for the 'knobless' front. One reason I prefer the MCD301 to the MCD350 that replaced it. No knobs on the MCD350. If there are no knobs McIntosh should cut the height in half.

Not impressed, still waiting for a 2 piece unit, but I still love my MCD1100!

I agree, why not make it the size of a D150?

I’m glad I own the MCT450 .... I never have liked the look of a USB port on the front glass. Personally, I would never use it. I do wish the transports came with knobs
