Yes. Had a few payouts too, and it was not easy to collect. Took a lot of persistence and repeated follow-ups. Be very firm and persistent, and do not let up. Hoping you took photos as part of receipt, unboxing.
Last week I spoke with an unnamed merchant who ships about 1200 audio related packages a week. We got into this topic after I ordered a five speaker set for HT. They instructed me to accept/receive it ("not refuse it") even if it's damaged ??? and I would have thought the same as poppyhome noted. Good luck on it and do not give in. Agree with others, since Cary packed it and shipped it, maybe ask them issue a return (get it back in their hands, if at all possible) after FedEx inspects it and completes the report. Man I hate shipping damage BS, and it happens more than ever these days. Argh. |
Filing, and getting paid on a shipping damaged claim is an Art Form. Any experienced dealer/manufacturer will know how to handle it.

Well what was it - and why 6 months ? I am really hoping they insured it coming back to you. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Claim paid by FedEx.
Back in business. Burning in the Jensen caps now. Feeling it now............ Cary took care of it. Pretty hard to deal with all this sometimes. I do almost supernatural things with music. Hard to explain. Cheers, Chris |
Glad that it was handled by Cary with a successful outcome, now you can just sit back enjoy the tunes in the best of health! :hphones:
