Let the work begin!
 

Just finished clearing out the listening room and the electrician is off and running :thumbsup: This project will include:

2 20amp circuits for the audio gear
9 recessed lights (6 in the audio room and three in the hallway)
2 ceiling fan boxes (1 in guest bedroom and 1 in listening room)
1 outdoor GFI outlet on back patio

Labor $500, $580 in materials. wife's blessing........priceless :D:D

Don.......That is a good price, too. You are getting off light.

Good to know :yes: John, the electrician has done two other small projects for me in the past and he knows I'll call him when I need more work, plus I've given several referrals. At this point I never question his pricing as it always seems more than fair :thumbsup:

Should be done today. Not sure if I'm going to move the gear back on today and in fact Ill likely not. Seems like the perfect time to paint and do some trim work. I was also thinking of doing away with the acoustical ceiling which will depend on how good or bad the patch work goes, LOL.

Don.......Yep. When a project starts, one thing leads to another. Like you say, may as well do it now.

Made some progress today :) Installed ceiling fan/light in spare bedroom. Installed a dimmer on the hallway lights as well as the audio room. Also started to patch the holes in the wall and ceiling that were made when installing the dedicated lines.

Don... Do you have one breaker for each outlet or one for both of them?
