Best Universal Binding Post Plier
3 Attachment(s)
I previously posted about this Knipex tool, but recently modified it slightly.
Here it is with the tool end coated with Plasti-Dip: https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1489873532 https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...&d=1489873536\ https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1489873540 I put 2 coats on it, and let it dry overnight per the instructions. It grips binding posts like nobody's business, and neither the tool tip or posts look any worse for the wear. Great idea!

The image is clear and real. I wonder if it's Nikon.

Genius idea

Nicely done, Ivan!

Nailed it again!

Best of all, these work remarkably well. The plasti-dip coating protects everything it touches, but doesn't wear off.

I already have this great tool, and I had resorted to wrapping the tips in electrical tape (with minimal success). This makes so much sense! Purchased today.

Quite a few years back there was a tool called the 'Postmaster' for tightening speaker cable posts. Unfortunately I can't find any references to it now.
