Tannoy Westminster Value

My father in law that has a pair that has been sitting in storage and while we would like to put them to use, both of our audio rooms are too small. Trying to get a sense of what they are worth if he ends up selling them.

They are from the early 90's and look to be in good condition. Going to try to get them hooked up to see if there are any issues.

Any help is appreciated!

Is there a way to tell the model? I just see a badge that says Westminster Tannoy. I believe they are from 1992.

psh.......There may be a model number on the rear of the cabinet. How about posting a few photos, front and rear. That may help us identify the speakers more accurately. Without that information it is impossible to offer an opinion on value.

Pics attached. No model number on the rear but I think they are behind the speaker grill. Unfortunately, we didn't have a key for the grill so will probably have to try to order one from a dealer.

Looks to be in decent shape. There was a loose connection in one but fixed that today. Did a quick test with a tone generator and everything sounded good - no buzzing or any weird sounds.

psh.......Your Tannoy Westminster is the early model without the SE or GR upgrades that came along in more recent years. I would suggest you contact Tannoy with the photos to let them determine the used value.

Here is a similar early model of the Tannoy Westminster. This pair was recently listed on HiFiShark for $6150 but did not sell and the listing expired.

Father in law ended up setting them up in his room. They look very nice without the grill covers!
