For those of you in North Carolina and South Carolina and border states near each we have started the Carolina Audio Society. Thanks Ivan for the permission to post. I hope our friends in the Carolinas will participate. We will have chapters in Greensboro, Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Asheville, Columbia, Greenville, Charleston, among others, and will have events over time at each city. Hey all, I'm very new to this community (just found AA a week or so ago) and have been in the Asheville area for a few years now. I have been more headphone-oriented up to this point mostly due to space constraints but am interested in all aspects of audio and audio gear. I've been a been a bit disappointed at the lack of audio retailers in such a music-oriented city and haven't come across any locals yet who share my audiophile interests. It would be nice to meet up with some like-minded individuals.
