Hello fellow audiophiles. My good friend Carlos (cma29) encouraged me to join this site. I live in the DC area and have been an audiophile since I was a teenager. I grew up playing classical piano since the age of 7. I listen to classical, jazz, and classic rock. My current system is comprised of the following:

Music Server: JRiver running on heavily modified HP Pavilion PC (Corsair power supply, Noctua silent fans) running Windows 10
Preamp: Classe CP-800, DAC card upgraded to 192kHz capability
Amp: Classe CA-2200
Speakers: Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT
Interconnects: AudioQuest Sky balanced
Speaker cable: AudioQuest Oak (bi-wired)
USB cable: Wireworld Platinum Starlight 7 USB 2.0
RCA cable (for the SACD player): Transparent premium
Power cords: Mix of AudioQuest and Transparent
Accessories: Ayre/Cardas Myrtle Blocks
Rack: Salamander A/V cabinet
Sound treatments: ASC Tube Traps (three columns 11", six 16", two 24"), ASC sound panels (eight panels)

Yong - Great to see you here.

Yong was the guy who got me into "high-end" audio in the early 1990s after listening to his KEF speakers and Denon receiver.

We've come a long way, but I fondly remember those summer evenings in college listening to that system, discovering great music and making sumptuous dinners. Great memories! :thumbsup:
