If you take the subway it is probably about a 1h ride...

I'd recommend taking the Blueline into the city. The Rosemont stop is just down the street from the Hotel the show is at.

Hop off at Washington and your a few blocks away from Millenium Park.

If you haven't already figured this out, CTA has a great site that allows you to input start and end points, then see your options for getting on and off nearby. Michigan Ave is fairly long. If you use 900 N Michigan as the end point, you'll want to pick a stop before there depending on where you're headed along Michigan.
