Wilson speakers have been favorably reviewed by them many times. To come out and say that they are nothing more than a fancy paint job??? I'd like to see an actual explanation of how exactly he thought the measurements were bad and what makes Wilson speakers, bad value and bad speakers. Not that I ever paid any attention to his publication but I'll add Soundstage to the list of the ones I don't read. Can't trust any of them, really. :D Very unprofessional and very near sighted. :icon_thumbsdown:

Wilson speakers are fabulous.
And I'm a fan of Tannoy, PMC, ProAc, Rega, Harbeth and many other british speakers. There is room for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using A.Aficionado |

Seriously, its all about PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP, the LOVE and PASSION for the branding and PERFORMANCE - which itself varies from person to person. As long as one enjoys the music and likes the look (or not, by switching off the lights), its up to one's willingness to part. Who knows, one day I might just say something else is better than Meridian and boom, I switched. BUT then, don't forget, I HAD enjoyed them for some time .... So, it will be very unkind of me to say things like that. |
