Impressive Sir.

Is there a subliminal message between post zero and post 2?

Best Sir,

Bob

No subliminal message, but I did order a new Simaudio MOON Neo 260D transport without the DAC option. I am going to use the 260D transport in the living room sound system with my new Schiit Audio Yggdrasil DAC. It is being drop shipped direct to me from Simaudio in Quebec. I should have it this coming Tuesday.

Since installing the Yggdrasil DAC I have used two different players as transports with it, an older Denon DVD-2800 and an Oppo BDP-95. The Oppo sounds better than the Denon. I am confident the Simaudio MOON Neo 260D transport will perform better than the BDP-95. The Oppo will go back into my 5.1 surround system in my office. I use it in there to play Blu-ray movies and also to feed a digital signal to my Wyred 4 Sound DAC2 that feeds my Sennheiser HDVA 600 headphone amplifier.

The Simaudio MOON Neo 260D transport is a premium CD transport. Mine is the all black model. It is going to look great in my living room rack.

I’m aware of MOON just not all that familiar, and the video helps there.

Always cool to see the assembly process. I’m still blown away how circuit boards and chips are created.

Simaudio is a unique audio manufacturer. Their production is done completely in house, similar to McIntosh. They have their own metal shop where they manufacture the cases, do painting and silk screening. They build their own circuit boards, transports, and even build their own remote controls. Simaudio offers an extensive line of audio components that include amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, and transports. They have manufactured great audio components for 37 years.

I am excited about receiving my new Simaudio MOON Neo 260D transport. Can't wait to spin some CD's in it.

Someone once said and I'm not sure if I heard this or read it -- but Simaudio is the McIntosh of Canada.

Pretty good praise I'd say.

Best to you & a very nice unit Dan to mate with your other Schiit. (:roflmao:)

Bob.......Yes, I have heard the same about Simaudio. They haven't survived 37 years without learning, growing, and delivering high quality audio components that owners enjoy. I am looking forward to enjoying the Simaudio MOON Neo 260D transport with the Schiit Audio Yggdrasil DAC in my living room sound system.
