I love bmw, but lately their cars seems bigger and more bloated. Yes I know it's fast, but it just doesn't look like it.

I looked at them hard before my recent purchase and came to the same conclusion. I have had three and loved them over many great years of service, but just seemed like they had too much stuff on them now. Just my opinion of course, and they're still a great machine.

Since moving back to Mn my options are more limited. I need AWD for them winter.

The road tests on that car have not been great. They claim the steering in numb and the car has little driving feel.

Yeah, current car and driver. 540i, but basically the same car.
