Burn in time with Clearaudio cartridges

What is the expected burn in time with clearaudio MC cartridges? Is it the typical 50 hours? Joey.

I would say closer to 100 hours, which one did you get?

Yes it is. Even with only 10 hours playing time, it sounds better than the stock cartridge that came with the MT5. Was just wondering how much more improvement I could expect. Joey.

It appears it may be too soon to ask but how do you find the Stradivari? I'm thinking about a Clearaudio MC cartridge to pair with my Ovation/Clarify, maybe the Stradivari. Very little to go on as far as reviews/information online. The little bit I have been able to find seems to imply that the midline (if you can call them that) Clearaudio MC cartridges are a bit forward and may even be a little to detailed (and bright) at times.

Any information you maybe able to share would be most appreciated.

Regards, Mark

I found my ClearAudio carts; DaVinci & Goldfinger got even better after 75-100 hours.

Mark I will keep you posted as I break this cart in. Please keep in mind I'm coming from the stock Sumiko Blue Point 2 which I found to be very forward and bright. Even after 150 hours. So right now the Stradivari is laid back and smooth in comparison.
I have just returned to Vinyl after 30 years so my experience in this area is very limited. Cheers Joey.

Awesome. Thank You Ivan. It's a fun hobby but I'm getting burn-in fatigue. The only thing I didn't have to burn-in are my audio stands or did I miss the thread on this :umm: Cheers Joey.

Thanks Joey. Looking forward to your observations.
