I like the Stax 4070's. but they are hard to find now.

The best I can think of are the Audeze LCD XC but they are pricey...MSRP $1,799.

I suggest the Fostex TH900 but any decent headphone will always sound better with a headphone amp.

The Bowers & Wilkins P7 is also fantastic.

It will not work without serious head amp.

If TS will declare price limits...
