Unpacking the lady

Yesterday I had the pleasure of helping a good friend unpack his new Adia's. This is some serious piece of hardware :)
I did not have my camera but did use my phone to take a few pictures.

The unboxing task took the good part of 3 hours. Out of the box they sounded a little harsh but the soundstage is huge and the definition is the best I have heard so far. Will send some more pics next time I am there.

Very Cool... Next week, my turn. ;)

What was your friend driving them with?

ronenash 03-09-2012 11:43 AM

Conrad Johnson Premier 350 driven by a CJ ET5 preamp.

Actually, Ivan, I just got a message from Bill ...he said he couldn't reach you, but that this was, actually, your pair that was redirected to roneash's buddy. Unfortunately, you now have to wait another two months. :D

p.s. Thanks for the pics of these!

Giving me the silent treatment, huh?

Don't worry. Your pair will unbox faster. :D

One tip when unpacking:Move the trolley all the way in toward the speaker once it is off the crate base. Makes the speaker much more stable and maneuverable.
