Gato Amp 150 Integrated
 

In an OCD fueled frenzy, I have decided to try out the Gato Amp - 150 integrated. A relatively unknown brand here state-side, it has been getting some very nice reviews in Europe.

This line is imported by Michael Kelly of Aerial Acoustics and he claims that this amp pairs exceptionally well with the Aerial 7T.

We shall soon find out!

I will be waiting to read your impressions of the Gato Audio Amp-150. I am confident it will make your Aerial 7T's sing beautifully. Did you order the walnut wood top or the painted top?

Hi Dan,

I ordered the walnut finish. It should be in Monday. I made the choice based largely on Michael Kelly's recommendations to pair with the Aerial 7T.

Apparently after a 100 hour burn in, it will start sounding good.

BTW - what an excellent article you wrote! I asked Michael about the DIA 400 and he said the 150 sounded better.

Long gone! It paired very nicely with the Aerials.

Nice polite, neutral amp.
