Goldring Eroica H VS Hana EH

I have an opportunity to get a good deal on either of these two cartridges for my Denon turntable. I can get a Goldring for 40% off before a planned price increase or I can get the Hana for around 17% off. I don't want to get the cart that is the best deal but rather the one that sounds the best. Anyone here familiar with both carts?

My Music Hall 9.1 came with Eroica LX which I thought sounded very good to me.I ended up putting it on my Dual 604.I bought a Dynavector 20x2l for the 9.1 and I think they very close in sound quality.I am thinking of getting a Hanna unless I try for retipping the other two when the time comes.Cheers

Thanks for the reply, Chubba. After doing a lot of reading, I decided to go with the Hana EH. I just installed it today. I will write a review after I get 50-100 hours on it. Cheers.

Have you tried a Denon DL 103? Now there is a cartridge that gives you body, soul and music for under $300.

I tried the Denon DL-103R but it was a bad match for the tonearm on my Denon DP-300F. I also tried it with the Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable which was a great match to the tonearm. In many ways it was a superior turntable to my Denon DP300F but ultimately it lacked some of the magic that my Denon turntable has. I've also tried the Denon DL-160 which was an AMAZING cart and I miss it greatly. It is a shame that Denon discontinued it.

I tried the 103R as well. I still have the Technics SL. The 103R did sound a bit more lively up top, but overall, I preferred the 103. It was just more musical. Here is the 103R playing on the Technics. This was some years ago. https://youtu.be/0p2BdAkD2TU
