Smart TV sets are pretty cool

I picked up a 60 inch Samsung smart TV set for my family room. I like the the different apps as well as the picture quality. Looking forward to seeing the new projectors at CES . My projector is next in the upgrade list,

David.......That will make a huge difference in your theater. Lots of advances in projector technology since you purchased the one you have. Long overdue for such a nice theater.

David....I recently purchased a 32" Samsung smart TV for my office system. Like you, I find the applications and picture quality very cool. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Samsung picture became very washed out, so I have a Sony now. Picture colors are luscious and vibrant . Picture quality is wonderful so far. Netflix streaming also working nicely

Not yet , but I have to say I am very interested  . One of the questions I have is which one 1080 P or 4 k ? :scratch2: I know 4k is still brand new with hardly any programing available to watch. My cable service (comcast) is still only 720P(1080i) , same for netflix which are what I watch 90 % of the time.

I sure hope Sony turns their TV business around. A world exclusively dependant on Samsung panels will be a miserable 3000hr countdown for consumers.

I sold the 4k projector; I also recently bought a Sony 55" 4K for myself.
