I just compared the specs from the TAD R1 MKII to the new TAD R1-TX.

They are all absolutely identical across the board; except the price of course. ;)

So how much difference in price is there? Maybe a demo in your future perhaps? :scratch2:

brownbear 07-21-2019 08:31 AM

Maybe these will drive down the price of the MKII's (not)

If the cost has risen by 50% it must be 50% better, mustn't it?

So the website hype regarding sound improvements is not to be believed? Either way, that's one heck of a price jump!!

Hi. I have been curious about the R1. I heard the E1TX in Tokyo last year, and it was impressive. Unfortunately, they didnt have the R1 during the show. I have been reading about it, and several have commented that they are on the detailed and bright side of things. Does this mean they are more analytical than musical? Also, are they harder to drive than what their specs suggest? TIA!!!
