Tight budget power conditioner?

So Ivan did one his many magic tricks and I purchased an Accuphase E-650. It should be in my house in the next 1-2 months and I am now left with the wait.

This has led me down the path of thinking about power delivery to the E-650. I currently have a Tripp Lite LCR2400 and that is what I had planned on using.

Any other suggestions for something better on a tight budget? Or does the LCR2400 give me enough protection for now (as in I have had my eye on some the Furman IT-ref gear for the future)?

I have found the Keces line from a major OEM torroidal transformer and electronic supplier in Taiwan to be one of the best values out there. I have owned many other power conditioners that were much more expensive over the years, let's just say I am not looking for anything better than Keces anymore. :smoking: Google Keces Audio USA.

If your concern is primarily protection, I would consider a whole house surge suppressor. The Tripp Lite and something at the panel will let you sleep well at night. There’s a few threads regarding decent choices that won’t cost much more than a nice steak dinner.

I should have included that my current house is a rental so not really much I can do to the house’s power distribution until I own my place.

Shouldn’t be too much longer though. Finishing up medical residency next June [emoji41][emoji41]

Kyle... define tight budget; maybe there is a bit more magic in my wand. ;)

Pretty tight. Likely no more than around $200. My main focus is just protection for now.

I will have more to play with once I am done with residency. I have been pretty happy with the Tripp Lite so I may just be overthinking it.

Future plans will include getting dedicated 20A lines and grounded connections, etc.

Ivan is also a SurgeX dealer. Very pleased with the XR-315 he provided.
