I pulled the trigger, Dyn Confidence C1 Rosewood

after much debate, i decided to purchase a pair of lightly used, essentially new Dynaudio Confidence C1 speakers in Rosewood finish with what i believe is high gloss lacquer.

this is the first speaker I have purchased sight unseen, unheard but after reading many many user comments I feel it will be a nice fit with my small room and system.

i am driving to pick them up on thursday (if all goes as planned).

i cant wait to get these guys and hook em up.

they will need lots of break in still, dealer estimates only 60 hrs or so currently logged.

Congratulations!

I can't wait to read your impressions.

Beautiful speakers!

dont know why pics came out sideways, not that way on my desktop.

i am hoping the Rosewood doesnt clash too bad with my Cherry REL subs as i dont need any incentive to swap in a pair of black gloss REL G2s :sos:

Replacing SF's? or adding another system.

Congratulations, those should be beautiful looking and sounding. Just a heads up...between 100 and 200 hours they can get shouty and strident, and many people return them at this time, thinking they will never get better. They come in beautifully at 300 hours, almost to the hour, so patience is key.

Congrats j3brow !
They look stunning and I bet they sound the same. Usually, speakers that are so deep sound very good.

Congrats on the new speakers! I like many others can't wait to hear about them. The Rosewood is stunning.
