If one can honestly notice the presence of and the effect of, jitter in their system, then it would make perfect sense to chase the best clocks and digital cables. :yes:
Turns out my ears are not tuned to be sensitive enough to hear jitter within the "normal and expected" range of a quality built but not necessarily exuberantly priced DACs, ( 2us range) . :no:
So I simply spend the time and effort on listening to my favorite music instead of chasing absolutes. :music:
