Let there be Light

If you are anything like me, you need the extra help of a headlamp sometimes to get the job done.

After owning literally dozens of them over the years, I will be bold and say that I’m somewhat of an expert in knowing which ones to own.

I have them all, Fenix, Surefire, Olight, Nitecore, Edison Bright, ThruNight, etc.

The large bulk of them run on the 18650 battery platform; up to 1800 lumens with a 3600mAh battery. Till recently they are very good, and very bright. My old standby was the Nitecore HC33.

That all just changed with the introduction of the New Nitecore HC35 which is based on the all new high capacity battery platform 21700 Li-ion. It puts out an astonishing 2700 lumens using up to a 5000mAh battery. It has 5 different levels of light output.

It can be easily removed from the headlamp, and used as a flashlight. It has a magnetic base for attaching it to an electrical panel, car, etc.

Here is the basic kit:

This will be the last headlamp you will ever buy, and you can trust me on that. :)
