Hey all! Great to join this wonderful forum. Thanks particularly to Ivan and all his contributions - and thanks to him I am a soon-to-be-owner of a PS Audio P12 Power Plant!

My system is as follows:
Exclusive P12 turntable (direct drive not sold outside of Japan)
Koetsu Urushi cartridge
Hashimoto HM-7 step-up transformers
Aurorasound Vida phono pre
Self-made pre-amp based on 12B4A tube and transformer-based volume control
Self-made power amp based on 845 output tube, Tango output iron and interstage
Audio Note AN-E speakers with external crossover

It would be great to start an audio group in Boston! I live in the Newton area. We could also do a group trip around to see Ivan in his Cape house...

Great to meet you all.

Robert

Thanks so much everyone. Great that we have this online community, and even better if we can foster some local ones.

Dave, my reference to Tango is for their interstage and output transformers made in Japan. Unfortunately, they are out of business now, but arguably designed and built the best vacuum tube transformers known to man. I still have two sets of the venerable Tango X10-S output transformers for 211 and 845 tubes.
