Well,
I ordered my first side of beef. I have a good friend whose father raises grass fed organic red devon cattle. I got it butchered for $5 a pound otd:smoking: :smoking:

I love beef but am not exactly sure how I feel about seeing the target before the deed. ;)

A friend used to raise a few head for personal consumption. He introduced them to my 7 year old son one day as Huey, Louie, Dewey, and Ivan. One night we were at their house having steak dinner and John said "well, how do you like Ivan?" My son almost choked.

Tony.......Yes, some people have problems when they see an animal alive then see a chunk of it on the plate. I don't have an issue with it but I know a few people who do. I know one woman who says if it has a face she will not eat it. I nearly made her cry one day when I asked her if she ever heard how a carrot screams when it's jerked from the earth. That upset her. Man, talk about sensitive.
