What did they say about the Sony speakers? What did you think?

The Sonys were prototypes that they were not able to release the model designation yet. They were not SS-AR2s, but desigined along similar principles to the AR1 and AR2.

Ritmo and I thought they were nice, but still needed some refinement on the highs...just a bit too forward for our tastes.

Thanks. I got the same info from them at CEDIA. OTOH, the demo there was impressive in a clearly different environment.

I'm surprised to see a Fosgate Signature phono stage preamp in place of a Pass component, especially since they were using the Pass Labs preamplifier and power amp.

Me, too, especially when the phono stage that was all the buzz both at RMAF and CA Audio was the Zesto Audio Andros phono stage.

To Sony: Please release Sony ES separates to match!
