Danny Richie of GR-Research fixes the Klipsch RF-72.

And man, with this speaker, it really needed Danny's magic.

I don't what the Klipsch engineers were thinking when they designed this thing. Whoa....

Baseline, some of the worst response Danny has measured in a speaker. It's...bad.

Danny shows his talent for speaker design by showing just how well he was able to fix it, but the tweeter still rings pretty badly. And, it took a lot of parts in a completely new crossover design to fix it, almost $700 worth of parts for the crossover, 4 sheets of No-res and over 70 feet of wire.

I have these speakers and have heard many others. They sound decent to me with my Mcintosh MC-252 and Sonic Frontiers preamp with good cables. It is a good ad though.
