Subwoofer w/Klipschorns...what brand/model?

I've been toying with the idea of adding a sub with my Khorns. I'm considering a JL F110.
Thoughts and your input please! :D

I'm not familar with the JL (nor subs in general)

Also, I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn last night nor even last month!

That said, I jumped in with both feet and bought two Danley DTS-10's to mate with the Jubilee's. I've loaned out my electronic crossover so I've only had a short time to play around. They seem very capable.

I have a pair of Velodyne DD10 Plus subs with my LaScala IIs. they replaced a
single JL F112 that I had used previously. Big improvement with the Velodyne.
Partly due to 2 subs, also they have auto room correction.

I've heard a pair of JL F110s.... I would suggest thinking bigger, you can always dial them down. A pair of F113s can push some decent pressure.

+1 on the Danley DTS 10s. I also have two and they mate great with the Klipschorns.

I have a DD 18 crossed over at 70hz
Fills in the last bottom octave nicely

From my experience, its not easy.

The bass horn is est. 8ft long so there is a delay from the mid/high section. If you simply place a sub in your system you may notice blurred or slow bass- in other words it wont sound "right"

I ended up delaying the mid/ high section using a MEN220 and then delaying the Subs.

Its dialed in but for at least 4 months I was driving myself nuts!
