Nothing lasts for ever, I get that.

How long does one expect to see from a high end power cable ruling out extremities of environment and similar?

If this is to general, help narrow down the replies.

There are very few wear out mechanisms in power cables. The IEC socket will eventually reduce contact pressure as it is wears. That could take a normal person's lifetime.

I have to occasionally flip my cables around as all the music has run out. After a few hours I can switch them back as they have filled back up with beautiful music.🤘

I do unplug and re-plug all of my power cables, interconnects, and digital cables annually just to refresh the contact surfaces.
