Unplugging My Equipment - Yes or No?

Hey guys,

Need a quick advice on best practices. I am going on a 2.5 weeks vacation soon, and while away, I was thinking to unplug everything for the duration (amps, pre-amp, sources).
Main reason: protect the equipment while I am away and also save some $ on electricity
I do have a PS Audio P12 unit, not sure if there is any issue with unplugging it for so long.

Thank you in advance!

Without a doubt -- a wise move IMO. As the saying goes, best be safe than sorry.

Enjoy your vacation with peace of mind. Priceless.

Best Sir,

Bob

Unplug it all. Don’t forget any Ethernet cables... Cheapest insurance there is.

Thank you! Everything will be unplugged.

I always unplug my whole system if I’m gone more than one night. As Craig said, “cheapest insurance there is”.

Great point!

I (thought I) unplugged everything the last time I took a vacation but completely forgot about the ethernet cable. Next time I wont.
