I haven't tried it, but folks I know on other forums that have tried it really like it. Its not based on industry-standard tone control approaches, like using noisy op-amps, etc.

I have a Loki, it's a great little EQ that offers very usable tone control across the audio spectrum. I have tried it in different systems and configurations and found it sonically neutral, and of course it can be defeated and engaged with a front panel switch. If you need/want EQ for a specific system I'd recommend trying one, you can return it within 15 days for a refund.
