Have my DAP/IEM days gone forever?

For quite some time now I've been a speaker lad, after a life time of Walkman's Dap's and portable dac/amps, and I got well in to the mid range with 'em too, at least in actually getting the mid's quite clearly. From a 16 year old kid cycling to school with tape cassettes and fluffy earphones until last year, and now they gather dust, and I was unswayed by the Astell's also,or the High Ender's in my local shop.

It really was a total obsession, I didn't leave,or indeed hardly stayed, in the house without them, and now it's gone. They are encumbrances now, and it's only wind in my hair upon the pushie. Maybe it's just a phase.

Interesting, as I'm moving in the other direction, but not with IEMs, which I find uncomfortable. Have found the Bluetooth aptX codec to provide quite acceptable sonics for casual listening. But, what is a 'pushie'?

A push bike. As opposed to a motor bike.
