When I first tipped my toes in the audio pool in the early 90's, I started out with Paradigm Monitor 9 speakers.
I still use an Anthem MCA 20 amp to drive my Usher X-719 speakers as the front Left and Right speakers in my HT rig. I also use a pair of Paradigm Mini Monitors and a Monitor S3 center channel in my Family room 3.1 setup |
Any idea exactly when the Genesis release of ARC is due??..April 2019, but anyone have a more specific time?..Thanks...

New here, so be gentle. I have an Anthem AVM 60 for surround sound, but feeding into a McIntosh C2700 preamp in pass-through mode for the front speakers. I'm running subwoofer cable from the Mc to my subwoofer, but I'd also like to connect the Anthem to it. The Anthem has 2 outputs labeled "subs." Can each of these independently carry the full subwoofer information, or do I need to hook up cables to both outputs for a single subwoofer? (Another way of putting it is, could the Anthem sub outputs be used for 2 separate subwoofers?) Thanks.

I have an Anthem AVM 50 and I am running a McIntosh MC-240 as a Zone 2 amplifier for Stereo/Mono reproduction. The Zone 2 volume is limited. Is there a way around this?

Bump, I have an anthem 225i sitting on a shelf collecting dust and a pair of persona 7f speakers.

Did you check in the Anthem setup menu under volume controls? There can be a max volume limit setting. I believe the max volume is +12 dB which may not be enough if you have a quiet source and low gain amp. Using a balanced amp with XLR cables will give you another 6dB. Also there may be a zone 2 volume trim that needs adjusting. Check the front panel or remote controls. Adjust it while playing your music because trims are stored separately for different input signal types. I am going from memory so consult your Anthem user manual. |
