MX-R Twenty Upgrade Cost

Does anyone have recent information on the cost to upgrade the MX-R’s to Twenty status? Any recent intel would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

its the difference in price between the original MSRP and new MSRP for the region you reside in. in short, 10-15K depending on where you live.

I called to ask about this recently and was quoted $11k USD. However, there is a lead time of around 4 months because of some parts that are out of stock.

It took them three months to get the parts to my dealer for the upgrade in late 2016/early 2017 and the shipment was missing some parts and that took another month. I see not much has changed despite their apologies and claims that it was not a typical experience.

Ayre is a small company, and many of the vendors of the parts required will only ship in bulk.

This means that every so often Ayre will need to generate a backlog of orders before they can financially justify ordering say 50 of a particular part.
