The Accuphase A-250 Class-A Monophonic Power Amplifier is the newest flagship offering from Accuphase. A full redesign of the A-200, the A-250 raises the bar even higher in terms of electrical performance and sound quality and demonstrates the best performance to date in the history of Accuphase Power Amplifiers. The A-250 has an astonishing 127 dB S/N ratio, a 20% lower noise output than the A-200. Pure Class A operation delivers 100W of power into 8 ohms, 200W into 4 ohms, and 400 watts into 2 ohms. The A-250 begins shipping around the middle of June.

That's a really impressive amplifier, probably puts out some decent heat with those power ratings, retail price announced yet?

Ummm, I'm quite happy with the A-200s.

The Accuphase A-250 is a gorgeous looking power amp. I'll wager the 100 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms is more power than 90 percent of us will ever need. I have a feeling this is one amazing sounding amplifier. Beautiful to look at, too.
