Yggy Analog1 or Gumby Multibit

Disclaimer, I have a Yggy Analog 2 in my main system but my wife just gave permission for a bedroom rig...:music:

So I’m thinking about an entire Schiit system top to bottom (Ragnarok, Freya S) and either the Gumby Multibit or the garage sale Yggy Analog 1. The Garage sale yggy isn’t much more than the the Gumby multibit...decisions.

Does the Gumby need to be kept on 24/7? If no, I would lean that way for a less frequently used system.

Its best if its left on 24/7, yes. That is the factory guidance.

You might want to think about Bifrost 2, then, for a bedroom system. Only $699 and Jason Stoddard says its damn near an Yggy for $699. And, you'll get the new Unison USB implementation in it.

You might also want to consider a Ragnarok 2 with a built in DAC

That's also a good suggestion.

I use a BlueSound Node 2i integrated into my Control4 system for whole house audio distribution and a Schiit Gunguir Multibit for my 2-channel system. Set-up for BSound is seamless, extremely stable, the DAC is fine and its Roon Ready.
