Blue Note Jazz - Napa, CA
On March 11th I had an opportunity to see Spyro Gyra at the Blue Note in Napa with my wife, my cousin and his wife. Great venue, intimate (seats around 150 people) and outstanding food. I'm a huge fan of Spyro and they didn't disappoint.
Oh, and the last picture are my grandsons. I included just because they are so damn adorable. :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psxp6k2ko2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psbv5rlhe8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psz3krn1ga.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...psscfvfsjk.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...pscmzukjt4.jpg |
While I've been to Napa perhaps a hundred times, I've never gone to the Blue Note. Need to put that on my list for our harvest trip this year!

Also the pic with the next generation. :D |
Very nice I love that band, that would be a great setting. I need to do that one, i love these small winery venues. Great wine and food and great small settings :)
thanks for the share! I see some artist on the horizon I would love to see there. How was the sound, not too loud and what was the quality like ? |

Was going to go see Kenny G last week but flights were not good.

My niece lives in Napa. Sent her this thread. She replied that the club just recently opened. Hopefully we'll go there on my next visit.

Attended another fantastic concert at the Blue Note Napa, The Bob James Trio. Played a few tracks from his new album "Espresso." I think it's a winner!
