Great Customer Service Gesture from Stillpoints' Bruce Jacobs

I just wanted to let the forum know of my positive experience this week with Bruce. I bought and set up a new turntable this weekend, an VPI Aries 3D. I had previously purchased an LP Isolator from Ivan for my Oracle Delphi and was very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, the spindle length of the VPI is too long for my "standard" LP Isolator.

Well, Bruce to the rescue. My VPI dealer suggested I call Bruce and see if they could do something for me to exchange or get credit towards the long-spindle version. A couple of emails later, and Bruce is shipping me a new LP Isolator, and all I have to do is pay for shipping and handling. I think that is extremely fair of him and I am very satisfied with this resolution.

Thanks Bruce!

That's great to hear. Bruce Jacobs has a wealth of knowledge and he truly is one of audio's Good Guys - as are Paul, John and crew at Stillpoints. Bruce used to own Salon One Audio in the upper Midwest. His customer service and genuine concern to match the right component into a system were second to none.

Now that's great customer service! It's always good to recognize good businesses.

Just to tie this off, the new LPI arrived last week and Saturday I shipped back the original. Bruce called me today to make sure I was happy with the long spindle LPI (of course I am!), and we had a nice long chat about audio. He is a super nice guy.

This is fantastic Steve, great it worked out for you and gestures like Bruce's must be acknowleged and celebrated here. Great service indeed!

Steve, that is fantastic service. What is even better is the way the LPI sounds on the VPI TT. My old VPI spindle is just collecting dust.

Couldn't agree more. The VPI clamp was just that, a clamp. Sounds so good I'm holding off on the Periphery ring purchase for now.
