I've always wanted one of those jacks that is supplied with the larger Wilson speakers, but they charge $880.00 + shipping for it. I found one on-line that looks identical for $180.00. It goes from 1 1-2" to 6 1/2" and it'll support up to 2000 lbs. Just Google "Flat Billet Jack," or PM me if you're interested in getting one.

Great find, thanks for sharing. Interesting that the tri-c engineering jack is only rated at 1000lbs vs 2000lbs for the Wilson jack.

I just got one of the jacks, and it is exactly the same as the one I borrowed from my dealer recently when we moved speakers around. I am happy to have my own copy.

question: how do you actually use it, do you tilt the speaker sideways? in this scenario, would I lift one side just enough to remove the two casters one side and add spikes? the x1 are tall, when tilting i would be nervous about the center of gravity shifting and the speaker crashing down

I don't have the X1s but I suspect that it'll be best to tilt the speakers front/back rather than side/side.

Can't say about X1s, but for the Maxx2s, front/back tilting seems a lot safer and more stable. I still would have a second person to place a hand on the raised end to make sure that if you happen to raise it too much, it won't go over. On the Maxx2s, I could tell that when the rear was raised enough to allow the wheels to be removed and the spikes inserted, the speaker was heading towards tilting to the front. As long as you are careful and deliberate and have an extra hand, you should be fine. One other thing I did was place a thin rubber mat (like a tool chest drawer liner) under the jack so it wouldn't tend to slip at all on my concrete floor).
