The first steps towards installing my new A/V system in living room is done. Plasma TV and false wall mounting have been removed, allowing the audio gear to have a home, and new OLED 65" installed above fireplace. So far, I couldn't be happier with the results. The TV looks fantastic with cable box HD material. Really stunning straight out of the box, no fussing with any settings at this point.

Looks great...except that the second pic sorta freaked me out at first. ;)

Gail just got that 65" LG OLED last month.

The blacks are fantastic--best I have seen and the picture is very sharp.

My only criticism is the picture isn't as bright as the good LCD screens. I admit I like blindingly bright pictures. I want to be forced to squint when explosions or other bright scenes are presented.
