Thank you.
After ~20hr of play the upper-bass thru lower-mids have really smoothed out and opened up. Very pleased.

I am super impressed with the Canton Reference Line. I will eventually have on display 4 different models.

Moved the 9Ks into my favored 'near-field' listening position. Amazing how much a few degrees of rotating a speaker can affect the soundstage. Rotate one speaker a bit too far and the instruments all move across the stage. Think these are not the speakers for being close to the front wall, with their rear port. But I didn't spend that much time listening to them in that position, being a "near-field" kind of guy. Am sure I could have tweaked them into something nicer, but is so much easier to do the near-field thing.

Beautiful speakers! Can't wait for the arrival of my pair))

Which speaker angle (rotation) you are using now?
I've read about 5 degrees (from manufacturer) and 15 (in some magazine's review).

With my old Ventos I actually turned them "inside" even further, than listener's position. But I feel that it won't be needed with Reference.

Have them positioned so they are 'aimed' almost directly at my listening position. The tweeters are probably 2-3 degrees outside, rather than inside. Keep in mind that I have moved them to near-field and they are only about 6ft/2m away and about 5ft/<2m apart.

Been listening to several of the Hungarian Rhapsodies and believe these speakers are the best I've heard on solo piano. Though I'm loath to use such a superlative, these speakers are incredible for a 3-dimensional presentation that is very life-like.

Glad to see you're liking your 9K's. I still don't understand how a speaker as well made and possessed of such excellent sound can be almost unknown in the USA.

We're like in our own little club though. :tresbon:

Canton is gaining quite a bit of traction in the USA; and I’m helping. :p

I guess that makes you the club Chairman. :D

I'm just happy to be a member. :scratch2:
