The Ref 8K is new in Germany, and has not yet been made available or priced for the US. The closest place I know of that you could go to hear Reference models in the northeast would be in Massachusetts at Legend Audio Video. They have the 5K and above on display. The 5K will give you a great idea of what the 7K can do. The 5 has slightly larger woofers. So the frequency response dips lower on them. The design is similar enough that they are capable of the same sonic presentation and imaging. Well worth the drive.

Hello Dave, I have been enjoying the canton reference 3k speakers for couple of months. Great sounding speakers. Now I 'm considering changing the original footers to the isoacoustics gaia or stillpoints. What is the thread size to attach the footers.
