TAD R1's get Dual runs of WW Silver Eclipse 7 speaker cables
 

Today I decided to experiment, and add another complete run of WW Silver Eclipse 2.5M speaker cables.

My Bryston 28B-Cubed Monoblock amps have dual speaker output terminals. The TAD R1's also have two sets of binding posts.

My initial listening impressions are quite favorable. I like what I'm hearing, more dynamics and detail. Both Rich & Mitch also concur, this was a worthwhile upgrade. More to follow, as I get more time with the system.

Ivan - Not trying to be a smart a**, but curious why you wouldn't use the Gold or even Platinum Eclipse 7 cables with a system of that level. Possible that a single run with jumpers of the higher end cable would sound better than two pair of the Silvers. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on this or if you've already made that comparison. TIA, good listening and Happy Holidays!

Bill... rest assured this is temporary. Platinum Eclipse 7 speaker cables are back-ordered; albeit rare, but it does happen. ;)

I should have known better than thinking you'd settle for anything less than the best! :D

Dual runs of Platinum is far from cutting corners!

That much is certain...😆

It felt like I got a new speaker or amp or something when I did this with the cr-1s. EVERYTHING got materially better.
