Hello to everyone here from Connecticut. I'm wondering how long do I have to wait to be able to post in most threads, start a new thread or private message someone? This seems to be a great forum and I'm looking forward to being able to contribute what little I may have.

I just discovered this forum... :-) ...(I was attempting to garner information/evaluations on subwoofers from an "audiophile" focused forum, (as opposed to an "Audio/Video" focused forum, of which their are many, and the vast majority tend to prioritize the "Video" aspect of the audio reproduction thereof...)...Genuinely NO offense intended toward the "Audio/Video enthusiasts, however, it appears to me that the "stereo"/MUSIC end of this obses...HOBBY! tends to receive short shrift these days...lol...

In any event, I hope I am in the right place, and look forward to learning and exchanging ideas as they occur...Oh, and I will update my profile to reflect my current audio/stereo systems when this site allows me to do so. (My only regret is that as I continue to age, and acquire greater understanding and appreciation for this hobby, my ability to actually perceive improvements will only diminish time, however, ultimately, it is about the music, not the sound...lol...)
